Console tour

Understand projects, navigation, operational pages, and the project switcher.

5 minute read · Updated September 2026

Project switcher

The switcher changes the active project—not the active database. Every project has its own databases, usage, API keys, team context, backups, and operational history.

Recommended structure

Create separate Production, Staging, and Development projects so experiments and access changes cannot spill into production.

Project pages

  • Overview: service health, usage, and fast actions.
  • Databases: provisioning, connections, credentials, and Prisma setup.
  • Import & clone: migration jobs and database copies.
  • Data explorer and SQL workspace: inspect and query live data.
  • Monitoring, logs, reliability, and compute: operational control.

Organization pages

The Organization group is collapsed by default. It contains API keys, team, notifications, security, billing, settings, and integrations. These settings can affect more than one project, so roles are enforced separately from project operations.
